What paint correction fixes

It polishes the clear coat itself. It isn't a wax that hides marks for a few weeks.

  • Swirl marks from car washes and towels
  • Haze and dull, tired-looking paint
  • Light scratches
  • Water spots

What it can't fix

Scratches that go through the clear coat (if your fingernail catches, it may not come out all the way) and rock chips. We'll look at your paint and tell you honestly what to expect.

How much correction does your paint need?

We look at your paint in person and test a spot before we start. You never pay for more correction than your paint needs.

Common questions

How much does paint correction cost?

A one-step correction starts at $349. Heavier correction costs more. The exact price depends on your vehicle's size and paint condition, so we quote it on the phone.

What is paint correction?

Machine polishing that levels the clear coat to remove swirls, haze and light scratches. It isn't repainting, and it isn't a wax that hides marks for a few weeks.

Which level do I need?

It depends on how deep the marks are. We look at your paint and test a spot first, then recommend the right level.

Will it remove deep scratches?

Light and medium scratches usually come out or get much less visible. Scratches through the clear coat (the ones your fingernail catches on) may not come out all the way.

How long does it take?

A one-step is usually a few hours. A two-step or wet sanding can take most of a day. We give you a time when we quote.

Do I need a garage?

No. We bring a canopy for shade, plus our own water and power.
